Tell Pulte Homes to Build America so America works

Homeowners and workers have traveled 3,300 miles, stopping in 10 cities across the U.S., to tell Pulte Homes to stop foreclosing on the American Dream.

Riding their "Build America so America Works" RV, the tour highlights the role Pulte Homes played in crashing the U.S. housing market. The market collapse has resulted in the loss of 2 million construction jobs, nearly 3 million foreclosures and billions of dollars in lost retirement savings. Leading homebuilders can help prevent another crisis but they are continuing many of the same practices that contributed to the problems in our economy today.

Workers and homeowners asked Pulte President and CEO Richard Dugas to meet with them on Monday to express their concerns about Pulte's practices. Unfortunately, Dugas refused to meet with them and even threatened to have them arrested simply for requesting a meeting.
